This guitar was made in 1986 by Miguel Rodriguez, son of the legendary Miguel Rodriguez senior in the now famous workshop at 15 Alfaros St in Cordoba, Spain.

Rodriguez Senior (1888-1975) was a player in his youth and this shows in his instruments which are so comfortable to play. His son's instruments follow in the same line and are justly famous for their classy Spanish sound - sonorous depth, elegance and balance is the standard. No wonder these guitars have been expansively used by Pepe Romero and the whole Romero family followed by many other top players. This guitar, more than lives up to this description.

The instrument is signed and dated by Miguel and has an ink stamp inside 'Miguel Rodriguez Serrano'. It was in the USA and sold by GSI in 2013. Later it came to the UK and was sold by Kent Guitar Classics in 2016.

The overall condition is very good and the guitar plays perfectly. There are minor marks mostly to the top, too small to be caught by camera. There is a fine in line grain crack in the polish on the bass side of the fingerboard. This is a common pull line due to dry humidity and has no structural consequences as supported by top bracing at that location. Any professional inspection is welcomed.
