Purchase Policy
 
In order to buy a new guitar, you have the option to visit Maestoso Music by appointment, from one of our listed shop outlets or to buy via our website. 
 
Payment methods
Payment by bank transfer
Payment by credit card with proof of address over £50.
Payment in cash
 
Delivery
We deliver all around the world. The goods will be shipped by Fedex (or similar). Tracking numbers will be supplied and we urge you to be available to receive your instrument in person.
We send the goods as soon as we have received full payment.
Delivery time and transportation costs depend on where you live. Contact us for further information.
 
Damaged goods
All orders are thoroughly checked and carefully packaged before dispatch. 
Please, check the goods immediately (while the delivery man is still present) to make sure they haven’t been damaged during shipment.
In the event of goods arriving damaged, clearly report and describe the damage (with pictures of boxing and contents). Be sure to inform us within 24 hours after receipt. 
Failure to comply with the above will result in your complaint not being considered and Maestoso Music will no be liable.


Cancellations & Returns - Online purchase of new intruments.
As a remote order customer, you have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days after receipt of the goods, without having to specify the reason for your change of mind and without being charged for it (except for the return shipping costs).
If you wish to cancel your order, please notify Maestoso Music by email.
Please note that we will NOT accept returns if we have not been informed beforehand. The goods will have to be returned (fully insured) within a 14-day period. 
Once we have checked that the goods have arrived back in exactly the same condition as sent, we will refund the purchase price (using the same payment method you used when buying). All shipping costs will be charged to you.
In the case of failure to return items in their original condition, deductions from your refund will be accessed.
For the refund, we will use the same payment method you use when buying the goods.
 
Trial Period
Guitars can be sent for a 10 days trial period - pre-owned only. They must be paid for in full before delivery and a charge of £20 will be made for full world-wide insurance with Allianz Insurance. In the event of return the guitar must be back with Maestoso within the 10 days insurance period. Once we have checked that the goods have arrived back in exactly the same condition as sent, we will refund the purchase price (using the same payment method you used when buying).
In the case of failure to return items in their original condition, deductions from your refund will be accessed. All carriage to be paid by the buyer.

Guarantees
New instruments are guaranteed according to the manufacturer’s guarantee. Pre-owned instrument do not tender gurantees. Please contact us for further information.
 
Excluded
Damage resulting from use and any kind of wear and tear is excluded. Failure to follow the instructions for use will result in loss of guarantee.
Damage due to misuse, lack of care and maintenance, excessive strain or exceptional environmental conditions (such as excessive heat or humidity) are excluded. 
Damage caused by the use of accessories, of supplementary or replacement parts which are not original components are also excluded, as well as damage resulting from alterations and changes to the instrument.
