Francisco Barba (born 1939) is widely considered one of the finest flamenco luthiers of his era. He followed in his fathers footsteps having worked in the family workshop in Seville. His guitars are famous for their explosive power and have been played by many of the top flamenco players such as Rafael Riqueni, Antonio Rey and Diego del Morao, among many others
This particular guitar is in exceptional unused un-cracked/marked condition. It was purchased directly from Barba (with receipt) by the present owner. A rare chance to own such an example.
The woods are of the very highest quality as is the woodwork and aesthetic feel and appearance.
The guitar is amazingly light at 1245g
