Ramirez SP (2007)

Ramirez SP (2007)

Ramirez, perhaps the most famous family name in guitar lutherie from Madrid Spain. The Special Professional (SP) model was originally designed by Jose Ramirez IV in the 1990’s, similar to the famous 1A model but ‘artisan’ made by the family to reduce costs. In 2003 Amelia Ramirez further refined the model and that is what we have here. It is beautifully made with top class wood working (even inside) and timbers.

The sound is generous and typically Ramirez. The neck is far kinder than the original 1A models and so playability is enhanced especially with this 650/52 scale.

This particular guitar is in exceptional condition with hardly any sign of use, a credit to its sole owner. Happy to send further pictures or video. The nearest new version of this model (SPR) is £4300.

£2495 inc.original hard case in excellent condition.
