Roger Williams (2010)

Roger Williams (2010)

Roger Williams from Lichfield, has been making guitars for more than 20 years. He is well known for his ‘Vintage’ crossover guitars that won the JHS award in 2017. This guitar, No.204 named ‘Emilie’, shows admirable attention to detail in the wood working and the selection of the very best materials. The guitar has a sparkling quick sound that projects well. The neck and action is particularly comfortable. There is a hairline crack (might only be in the polish) on the lower bout of the front which is too small to notice and does not photograph being on a wood line. The crack is to the edge and so can’t extend and the sound is in no way compromised. The rest of the instrument has only minor marks, so condition is 9/10. The guitar has had one owner from new and it cost £3600 in 2010. A very fine concert guitar.
