Loriente Marieta (2005)
Loriente guitars were the brain child of German master luthier Ed Blochinger. He designed a range of guitars in 2003 to be built in Valencia in homage to past luthiers. The guitars were sold in the US by Guitar Salon and in the UK distributed by Maestoso Music. The aim was to make professional sounding guitars at a student price. The woods are AAA quality.
The 'Marieta' model is based on the 2nd epoch of Jose Antonio de Torres with the larger plantia. The sound is bold and clear.
This one is in as new 'mint' condition. There is hardly any sign of use. As the guitars are no longer made this is a rare chance to own one. There are still the odd new Loriente Marieta advertised in the US priced at £2450.
A very fine pro sounding guitar with a semi-hard foam case.
