Antonio Raya Ferrer (2009)
JUST REDUCED! This is a typical, traditional Granada guitar made by the son of Antonio Raya Pardo, who has helped and done much of the guitars construction for his famous father after he contracted cancer. The build quality, polishing, decorative details and sound are of the same quality as his father's work and is very musically sensitive..
It has a roundness of tone throughout the range, is comfortable to play, has a good balance between bass, middle & treble - overall a thoroughly decent, uncomplicated instrument with a refined quality of sound to be expected from a guitar with very good materials and put together with experienced hands. For a mid-price instrument it is very good value for money.
There is a small, hard to notice hairline crack to the back. It can't progress in any direction as located near the sound bar and heel. It does not in any way effect the beautiful sound from the instrument.
Signed and dated 2009 as No.120.
