Some nice things said by some nice people about our guitars!

"Camps -simply the best flamenco guitars at the price - fabulous!"

The Spanish Guitar Centre Bristol

Dear Paul,

I should like to say how very impressed with the Sol solid top guitar. The care and delicacy with which it has been constructed is really superb. It has the sort of traditional construction features, such as slipper heel, proper bracing thicknessing etc that one would expect to see only on a guitar three times the price! We shall be able to thoroughly recommend them.

This guitar is a great value for this price. i cant afford a very expensive blanca, and this axe can handle most of the very expensive ones that I have heard. Of course this is not a Ramirez, nor Conde, but surely it can handle any Sanchis, Burguet, Alhambra, Yairi that can double it the price. I would buy another one if it were stolen. I have played almost forty years, though I have had many long breaks in playing over the years. I consider the purchase of this instrument the best deal I have ever gotten on a musical instrument. If it were lost or stolen, I would scour the earth for another one. It is simply one of the finest examples of beauty and quality in workmanship and sound I have seen or heard.

A classical guitar from Valencia (Spain). The size is 4/4 standard. Everything is solid wood, the top is spruce, body and neck are mahogany, bridge is palisander and the fretboard is ebony. Nut and saddle are made of plastic. The tuning hardware is gold-colored, nothing special, but it does its purpose: keeping the tune. It has all a classical guitar needs. I'm playing a couple of years e- and western guitar and I wanted to try classical music, so I was looking for an affordable full solid classical guitar. I tried some other guitars in this price range but they couldn't reach the Saez in sound and playing comfort. Overall: A superb instrument that makes really fun to play for a fair price.

The volume is great, with a bright, rich tone that's a bit like a flamenco, due to the spruce/maple body. The tone is even across the range, with good sustain, although the volume above the 15th fret on the 1st and 2nd strings could be a bit more. So it contrasts with the dark sounds of my Matsuoka cedar/rosewood classical. Plugged in to my Kustom acoustic AA65 amp, it sounds lovely, but a bit "nasal", even with the treble reduced and the bass raised. Compared with my K Yairi and Matsuoka classical guitars, which are just acoustics, it's very comparable in every respect, apart for the preamp system. I've been playing for 35 years, and this is my 8th classical so I think I can pick a good guitar by this! Compared with my La Patrie CW concert classical, it beats it easily for unplugged volume, but it's not so good as the Canadian guitar when plugged in. Compared with a Yamaha electro-classical I had for a while, one of the better models in cedar/mahogany,(& should have kept), it would be a close call. Fom memory the P Saez may be slightly better unplugged, but the Yamaha may be better amped. In terms of value for money, this was a bargain!

Juan Hernandez 'Concierto'

Overall Rating : 10
If you're looking for the perfect guitar and can't afford a Ramirez 1A or a Byers, this is the one. It not only sounds fantastic, but this concert quality "Concierto," which comes from Juan Hernandez who trained in Valencia, Spain, in one of Spain's most famous workshops (Esteve), is one hell of a bargain. I also think this will stand the test of time.

Sound : 10
As I said, the sound is big and bright! I play strictly classical music and am now taking private lessons after nearly thirty years of playing various styles. I now find that I no longer even have a desire of playing my '57 Gibson fat top or my LG-1 Gibson re-make of Robert Johnson's blues guitar, or even my Gibson 1960 Reissue Classic. Classical guitar all the way, especially now that I've found my dream guitar! I'm even starting to get gigs w/it, though I'm not a professional guitarist. It sounds particularly good whenever I use an SM-58 mic plugged into either my 100W California Blonde or my 35W Trace Elliot. What a beautiful sound!

I've owned his "Concierto" model with a cedar top for over two years. I must say that, after playing it every day since I purchased it, that it is beautifully built, easy to play and has a rich and well balanced tone. Especially when Savarez corum strings are used.

 Dear Juan Hernandez

Just had two of your Estudio guitars from Maestoso Music, don't know how you can do such an amazing guitar for the price! Had to keep the cedar one for myself it is so amazing. Regards

Juan Hernandez 'Estudio'

Overall Rating  : 10
I can't imagination that I would ever find the better sounding classical guitar in this price range than Juan Hernandez Estudio
I've been tested many higher prices classical guitars and this is the best sounding guitar all of them. Extremely good! If it were stolen or lost, I would (with out the doubt) buy new Juan Hernandez Estudio. I wonder what is Juan Hernandez Estudio secret? Is it fine woods or great craftmanship. I guess them both!  Overall Rating  : 10
